Terms of Service
Effective: September 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of llog, the travel journal service operated by No Other Choice (노아더초이스) ("we"), and set out the rights and duties of both sides.
The Korean version of these terms is the original. If the two versions differ, the Korean version prevails.
1. Definitions
- "Service" means the llog mobile app and its related web pages.
- "You" means a person who accepts these terms and uses the service.
- "Trip" means the unit you create and invite others to, where records are kept together.
- "Record" means a title, note, time, place, photo or video, rating, comment, or review added to a trip.
- "Trip creation opportunity" means the right to create one trip.
- "Store" means the App Store and Google Play.
2. Publication and changes to these terms
We publish these terms in the service and on our website. We may amend them within the limits of applicable law.
When we amend them we announce the effective date and the reason at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days in advance for changes that disadvantage you. You may end your agreement at any time by deleting your account. If you do not object before the announced effective date, you are treated as having accepted the change.
3. Your account
Your agreement with us begins when you sign in with an Apple or Google account and finish setting up your handle.
- The service is for people aged 14 and over. In the EEA and the UK you must have reached the age of consent for data processing set by your country.
- Your account belongs to you and may not be transferred or lent to anyone else.
- Handles must be unique. We may ask you to change, or may reclaim, a handle that impersonates someone or is misleading.
- You are responsible for looking after the Apple or Google account you sign in with.
- We may refuse registration where an account was previously restricted or where there is a clear risk that these terms will be broken.
4. What the service does
We provide trip creation and member invitations, a day-by-day timeline of records, photo and video attachments, ratings and comments, trip reviews, notifications, and syncing across devices. Joining a trip and adding records is free; only creating a new trip requires a trip creation opportunity.
5. Trips and shared records
- Only someone with an invitation link can join a trip, and joining costs nothing.
- Members of the same trip can see the records, photos, and videos each of them added to it.
- If you leave a trip or delete your account while other members remain, the records, photos, and videos you already added stay in the trip and only your authorship is replaced with a non-identifying value, so the shared journal is not lost for them.
- If you want your records, photos, or videos removed, delete them before you leave the trip or delete your account.
- Sharing an invitation link with people unconnected to the trip can expose other members' records, so treat invitation links carefully.
6. Your content
- You keep copyright and all other rights in the records, photos, and videos you add to the service.
- We use your content only as far as running the service requires — storing, transmitting, displaying, backing up, and resizing it for the screen. We do not use your content for promotion or advertising.
- You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the content you upload, or that you have the rights holder's permission.
- Before adding a photo or video showing other people or including their voices, you should make sure they consent to that media being visible to the members of the trip.
7. What you must not do
- Break the law or infringe anyone else's rights
- Impersonate someone, or transfer or lend your account
- Access the service by irregular means, harvest data by automated means, or place an excessive load on our servers
- Falsify payment information or obtain trip creation opportunities by improper means
- Use, or attempt to use, a weakness in the service to reach another user's records
8. Trip creation opportunities
Creating a new trip uses one trip creation opportunity. Opportunities are granted free or bought from a store. With unlimited access, you can create trips without using opportunities.
- Free: each account gets 2 free opportunities, which are not replenished once used. Free opportunities used before September 26, 2026 count toward the 2. Free opportunities do not expire.
- Purchased: consumable products that add 1, 5, or 10 trips, with reference prices of KRW 2,900, 9,900, and 17,900 in Korea and USD 2.99, 9.99, and 14.99 in the US. Other regions may have regional discounts or local prices. The local price, tax treatment, and final amount charged follow each store's display.
- Unlimited: a one-time non-consumable purchase that allowed unlimited trip creation with no expiry. It is no longer sold. Existing unlimited access continues with no expiry and never requires another payment.
- Purchased opportunities do not expire and remain on the account until used.
- Opportunities belong to the account that bought them and cannot be moved to another account. Reinstalling the app or changing devices does not lose them — sign in with the same account and your remaining opportunities are restored.
- Unlimited access also belongs to the purchasing account. Sign in with the same account and use Restore purchases on the purchase screen to check your store purchase history.
9. Using and returning opportunities
- Creating a trip uses a free opportunity first; if you have none, it uses the oldest purchased opportunity.
- While unlimited access is active, creating trips does not use free or purchased opportunities.
- If you delete a trip that has no records at all, we return the opportunity used for it. A returned purchased opportunity can again be used without a time limit.
- Once a trip has even one record, the opportunity used for it is not returned, even if you delete the trip later.
- Deleting your account forfeits unused opportunities and unlimited access, and they cannot be restored.
10. Payment, withdrawal, and refunds
The App Store or Google Play processes payment under its own policy. We never receive card or bank account details.
- Under Korean consumer protection law you may withdraw your purchase within 7 days of buying it.
- That right does not apply once you have used the opportunity to create a trip, under Article 17(2)5 of the same law. We show this on the purchase screen.
- Refunds follow each store's process — ask Apple for App Store purchases and Google Play for Google Play purchases. If you contact us first, we will look into it and point you to the right process.
- When a store confirms a refund, we reclaim unused opportunities or unlimited access granted by that purchase. Trips already created are not deleted.
- A minor who paid without the consent of a legal guardian, or that guardian, may cancel the payment.
11. Changes to and interruption of the service
- We may change the service or discontinue part of it, and we announce changes that affect you in advance.
- The service may be interrupted temporarily by maintenance, equipment failure, loss of connectivity, or events beyond our control.
- If we close the service we announce it at least 30 days beforehand and, for paid opportunities you have not used, take the steps the law requires, including refunds.
12. Ending the agreement and restrictions
- You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in Settings. Unused trip creation opportunities are forfeited, and your personal data is handled as set out in the privacy policy.
- If you break these terms or the law we may ask you to put it right or restrict your use of the service, and we may end the agreement where the breach is repeated or serious.
- Where the situation is urgent — for example an ongoing infringement of another user's rights — we may restrict use first and tell you the reason afterwards. You can dispute that decision at the contact address below.
13. Limits on our liability
- We are not liable for loss caused by our failure to provide the service for reasons outside our responsibility, such as events beyond our control or a failure at a store or telecommunications provider.
- You are responsible for the content, accuracy, and lawfulness of the records, photos, and videos you add.
- We do not intervene in disputes between members of a trip, though we act on reports of unlawful conduct or infringement of rights.
- None of this applies to loss caused by our intent or gross negligence, or wherever the law does not allow our liability to be excluded.
14. Personal data
The personal data we process, why, how long we keep it, and your rights are set out in the privacy policy, available in the service and at https://llog.date/privacy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms and your use of the service are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises we will try in good faith to resolve it together; failing that, either side may bring a claim before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, the consumer protection rules of your country that cannot be excluded by agreement also apply to you.
